Police investigate death of teenage girl two days after alleged ‘sexual choking’ act in Sydney

New South Wales police are investigating the death of a 16-year-old girl in Sydney's northern beaches after what a source described as a sexual strangulation act. The Guardian reports emergency services were called to a home in Elanora Heights on Sunday evening over a welfare concern, and the teenager died in hospital two days later.
