Television Academy Hall of Fame Class: Netflix’s Ted Sarandos, Jean Smart, Ted Danson and ‘South Park’ Co-Creators Among Honorees

According to Variety, the Television Academy announced the twenty twenty-six Hall of Fame class this week, honoring seven titans whose impact spans documentary, journalism, executive television, and animation. The newest honorees include Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos; Emmy-winning actors Ted Danson and Jean Smart; South Park co-creators; documentary producer Sheila Nevins; and the late 60 Minutes correspondent Ed Bradley, who receives a posthumous induction. This is the twenty-eighth year the Academy has recognized television's most influential figures.
