Care Bears, Beloved Children’s Property, Acquired by Authentic Brands Group (EXCLUSIVE)

According to Variety, Authentic Brands Group has acquired the intellectual property of Care Bears, the beloved children's property that started as a greeting card concept in the early nineteen eighties and grew into a major merchandising powerhouse. The brand management firm now owns the cuddly residents of Care-a-Lot, though financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
