Space Math at NASA: Math Problems Related to the Moon
science
NASA Science is reporting that the agency has released a set of thirty-one mathematics problems focused on the Moon. Designed for students from kindergarten through twelfth grade and beyond, the exercises use scaling rules to measure lunar crater diameters based on imagery from the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter and other spacecraft. Educators can use the problems as group challenges or independent practice to help students calculate real-world data.
