According to The Guardian, Republican congressman Tom Kean Jr. returned to the House of Representatives on Tuesday after nearly four months away. Kean disclosed that he had entered the hospital for testing following health concerns and was diagnosed with depression. His last recorded vote was in March, leaving his absence largely unexplained until his return this week. In a House floor speech, Kean stated he had not anticipated his hospital stay would be long-term but required treatment for his condition.
