According to research firm KFF, Americans who frequently use AI chatbots for health information are more likely to believe vaccine myths — including false claims that vaccines cause autism or that the measles vaccine is more dangerous than measles itself. The poll surveyed approximately twenty-five hundred adults and found the connection remained significant even after accounting for age, race, education, and political partisanship. It's a stark reminder that AI systems, however sophisticated, require careful oversight when they're relied on for health guidance.
