50% of the Work Created in Linear Is Now Created by Agents. A Year Ago It Was 3%.

saas

Linear reports that agents now generate fifty percent of all work items in its paid workspaces, up from three percent just a year ago, after a twelve‑month surge. The company, which just disclosed a ninety‑nine million dollar secondary raise at a two point five billion dollar valuation, says agents are installed in ninety‑five percent of its workspaces. Linear also notes a seven‑fold increase since January in issues that include a pull request attached by engineers, product or design, indicating that the work is not only being opened but also completed by AI. As SaaStr points out, competitors such as Atlassian and monday.com are seeing comparable jumps in agent‑generated activity, hinting that AI agents are becoming a core part of software development workflows across the industry.
