"Mexican Batman" tapes suspected thieves to lamp posts

According to Boing Boing, a vigilante in Lagos de Moreno, Mexico has taken matters into his own hands by duct-taping suspected thieves to lampposts. The anonymous crime-fighter, dubbed 'Batman' by local media, has been marking his victims with drawn-on cat whiskers and the Spanish word for thief—'ratero'—scrawled across their faces. Police have requested that he stop.
