Number of missing in Nepal floods passes 2,400 as UNICEF says 17,000 children need aid

The number of people missing in Nepal's floods has passed twenty-four hundred, Euronews reports, with rescue teams recovering five hundred eighty-six bodies so far as crews dig through mud amid fears of new flooding. Some victims were swept downstream as far as India. UNICEF says seventeen thousand children now need aid.
