France 24 reports that Icelanders are voting in a tight referendum on Saturday to decide whether to reopen negotiations for European Union membership. The island nation first applied in two thousand nine after a financial crisis, but a eurosceptic government suspended the bid in two thousand thirteen. The result will determine if the talks are resumed.
