Bipartisan US Lawmakers Take Aim At Serbia's Vucic Over Democracy, Russia Ties

Radio Free Europe reports that a bipartisan group of U.S. lawmakers has condemned Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, saying his administration has suffered serious setbacks in democracy and the rule of law. The lawmakers also warned about Belgrade’s expanding relationships with nations Washington labels as adversaries, including Iran, Russia and China. The remarks signal continued U.S. concern over democratic backsliding in the Balkans.
