Wikipedia on a Cheap Yellow Display

A developer named Alun Morris has created a way to browse an entire offline version of Wikipedia on a Cheap Yellow Display, which is a microcontroller board featuring an ESP32 variant and a touchscreen. As Hackaday tells it, the project uses offline builds from the Kiwix project that are processed into a custom format for the device's browser firmware. Because modern SD cards have high capacities, the setup can store the full encyclopedia including images.
