Man poured boiling oil on roommate and stabbed him to death, gets life imprisonment

According to Channel NewsAsia, a man in his sixties has been sentenced to life imprisonment for killing his roommate in Singapore. He poured boiling oil on the man and then stabbed him to death. The two men lived together in a one-room flat where long-standing tensions over smoking, laundry, and a visiting girlfriend had created friction. The fatal confrontation resulted in the conviction and life sentence.
