According to France 24, Brazil's Supreme Court has sentenced Eduardo Bolsonaro, son of former President Jair Bolsonaro, to four years in prison. Eduardo was convicted of attempting to pressure US officials to impose sanctions on Brazil—a bid to influence his father's ongoing trial. The elder Bolsonaro is currently serving a 27-year sentence related to a failed coup attempt in 2022.
