NASA, SpaceX set to launch the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope from Florida on Sunday

NASASpaceflight reports that NASA and SpaceX are set to launch the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope on Sunday from Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The telescope will ride a Falcon Heavy to the Sun-Earth Lagrange Point 2, where it will search for exoplanets and dark energy with its two instruments. After liftoff, the side boosters will return to landing zones, while the center core is not recovered to maximize performance. Roman will spend about a month cruising to L2 before beginning its five-year primary mission.
