Apply to the Inaugural PIBBSS Winter Research Fellowship!

The Program on Intelligent Behavior and Biosecurity at Stanford is now accepting applications for its first winter research fellowship. It's a fully funded, three-month residency in Cape Town, South Africa, running from November through February twenty twenty-seven. The program brings together researchers from math, neuroscience, philosophy, dynamical systems, and related fields to work on AI safety. Fellows receive three thousand dollars monthly, accommodation, meals, and flights. You don't need a specific project in mind — mentors help develop ideas during the interview process. Past fellows have gone on to positions at Anthropic, Google, Oxford, Harvard, and leading AI safety organizations. The application deadline is July twentieth, twenty twenty-six.
