Learner's licence needed to keep pedalling under new Queensland laws

ABC News reports that starting on August thirty‑first, Queensland will require anyone riding an e‑bike or e‑scooter alone to be at least sixteen years old and to hold a driver’s licence. The rule is the latest phase of the state's crackdown on electric personal mobility devices.
