Finland's Stubb tells German newspaper Russia unlikely to risk attack on NATO

The Straits Times reports that Finland's President Alexander Stubb said he does not believe Russia would risk an attack on a NATO country. In an interview with Germany's Bild newspaper, Stubb argued that testing the alliance's resolve would make no sense. Finland, which shares a long border with Russia, joined NATO in 2023.
