Foreign worker takes company to court for unpaid overtime, wins S$20,000

A foreign restaurant worker in Singapore has won a court ruling for unpaid overtime. According to Channel NewsAsia, the worker argued he labored thirteen to fifteen hours a day, seven days a week, but his employer claimed he worked no overtime whatsoever. The court sided with the employee, awarding twenty thousand Singapore dollars in compensation.
