NASA’s Roman Space Telescope: Falcon Heavy Passes Max Q

A SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket carrying the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope has passed Max Q, the point of maximum aerodynamic pressure during its ascent. As NASA Science tells it, this phase represents the moment of greatest mechanical stress on the vehicle due to the combination of speed and air pressure. The mission will next proceed to the cutoff and separation of the side booster engines.
