Rival Libyan factions have signed a deal to hold national elections within two years, Al Jazeera English reports. The signing took place at the UN mission in Tripoli, following an initial draft inked by a UN-backed committee in Tunis on August twentieth. The agreement aims to break a long-standing political deadlock in the country.
