Why it matters that President Trump just dialed into a NASA news conference

Ars Technica reports that during Sunday's post-launch news conference for the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman briefly left the dais to take a call. He returned to announce that President Trump wanted to address the mission, and the president then dialed in to congratulate the team. The call was an unusual interruption to what is normally a routine briefing.
