Henry Nowak murder: two officers under gross misconduct investigation
politics
According to The Guardian, an independent police watchdog has launched a gross misconduct investigation into two officers in the case of Henry Nowak, an eighteen-year-old student who died from stab wounds in Southampton in December twenty twenty-five. The attacker falsely told police he was the victim of a racist attack, leading officers to handcuff Nowak and treat him as a suspect—even though he was saying he had been stabbed and could not breathe. The watchdog is now examining whether race influenced the officers' response.
