Cosmonaut Aleksandr Samokutyaev has died at age 56, according to Ars Technica. The Russian space explorer spent 322 days aboard the International Space Station across two expeditions, during which he completed two spacewalks. Samokutyaev was the first former ISS crew member to pass away.
