Alarm bells over conflict of interest as filing shows Trump raked in $2bn in 2025

According to reporting by The Guardian, financial disclosures released by the U.S. Office of Government Ethics show that Donald Trump earned more than two point two billion dollars in twenty twenty-five. Over one billion came from his cryptocurrency ventures, which have now eclipsed much of his traditional real estate portfolio. Additional revenue came from Trump-branded products and other business interests. The scale of these earnings has prompted concerns among ethics experts about potential conflicts of interest, given Trump's substantial business holdings while serving as president.
