Canada Officially Joins Eurovision Song Contest

According to Variety, Canada officially joined the Eurovision Song Contest. The country recently became a full member of the European Broadcasting Union—the EBU—which owns and runs the annual competition. Last week, they were voted in at the EBU's general assembly in Prague, making Canada eligible to compete for the first time.
