entertainment

According to the Guardian, London's Duke of York's Theatre in the West End will be renamed the Tom Stoppard Theatre, honouring the renowned playwright. The theatre is currently hosting a revival of Stoppard's masterpiece Arcadia—a play that was also performed there in two thousand nine. Stoppard's wife, Sabrina, expressed her delight at the renaming, saying it will ensure Tom's legacy lives on through both his plays and the theatre building itself. Theatre producer Sonia Friedman suggested Stoppard would have been thrilled by the honour.
