Physicists finally put Feynman's path integral to the test

Researchers in China have successfully conducted the first direct laboratory test of the path integral, a theoretical framework developed by Richard Feynman. For nearly eighty years, physicists have used this thought experiment to predict the behavior of quantum particles. Per Phys.org, this marks the first time the concept has been tested directly in a lab setting.
