NASA asks Northrop Grumman to stop working on lunar HALO module

NASA has directed Northrop Grumman to halt development of the HALO module, a planned habitation unit for its lunar Gateway station. The decision affects a program that has cost one point one billion dollars. According to Ars Technica, Northrop Grumman is reassigning most of the affected employees to other projects and programs.
