Fixing fast fashion: France will pay you to repair your clothes

France is offering financial incentives to keep clothes out of landfills. According to France 24, the government's Repair Bonus scheme reimburses consumers up to twenty-five euros per item for clothing repairs. Since launching in twenty twenty-three, the program has subsidized more than one million repairs, helping extend the life of garments and combat the environmental toll of fast fashion.
