Space Math at NASA: Image Scale Math

NASA Science has released a new problem set and educator's guide designed for students in grades six through eight. The resource uses ratios and proportions to help students determine image scales using real data from missions such as the Hubble Space Telescope, the Parker Solar Probe, and SDO. These materials are intended to supplement lessons on eclipses, lunar phases, and the solar system.
