NASA Welcomes Türkiye as Newest Artemis Accords Signatory

The Republic of Türkiye has officially joined the Artemis Accords, becoming the seventy-first nation to sign the international agreement for peaceful space exploration. As NASA tells it, the signing opens doors for Türkiye to contribute hardware and scientific payloads to future lunar missions. This partnership follows Türkiye's recent human spaceflight milestones and comes ahead of the country's first lunar mission, known as A-Y-A-P one.
