France confirms dates for 2027 presidential election

France has officially confirmed the dates for its next presidential election. Voters will cast their ballots in the first round on eighteen April twenty twenty-seven, with a runoff scheduled for two May of that same year. According to RFI, the government formally approved these dates at Wednesday's cabinet meeting.
