Police fatally shoot woman who stabbed two people in Times Square

New York City police fatally shot a woman Monday after she stabbed two people in Times Square, killing one of them. According to the Guardian, police commissioner Jessica Tisch described the attack as random and unprovoked, carried out by a woman with a history of mental health problems.
