Sydney has recorded its warmest winter on record, while Melbourne equaled its previous hottest winter temperatures. Per The Guardian, New South Wales, Victoria, and Tasmania all experienced their warmest winters ever. The Bureau of Meteorology says above-average daytime and nighttime temperatures are expected to continue for much of the country.
