Bentley recently showcased an original Super Sports model from the nineteen twenties at Laguna Seca. As Ars Technica tells it, the company produced only eighteen of these vehicles between nineteen twenty-five and nineteen twenty-seven, featuring a shortened wheelbase and a specialized three-liter engine. While the Ford Model T of that era struggled to reach forty miles per hour, Bentley guaranteed that the Super Sports could exceed one hundred miles per hour.
