According to Al Jazeera, as the International Labor Organization's Convention one-seventy-seven turns thirty, India's home-based workers are demanding equal rights. The convention, adopted June twentieth, nineteen ninety-six, recognized home-based workers on par with traditional wage earners—but three decades on, workers in India are still fighting for those protections to translate into practice.
