According to SpaceNews, the company made the sale to scale up its manufacturing operations to meet the substantial demands of NASA's lunar base initiative. By joining Voyager, Astrobotic is positioning itself to become a key supplier for the Artemis program, which aims to establish sustained human presence on the moon.
