Two people arrested in apparent marriage proposal atop Empire State Building

According to The Guardian, two people were arrested after climbing to the spire of the Empire State Building. The pair, dressed in black and masked, reached the very top of the New York landmark—well above where the public is allowed—and unfurled a large banner. It read: When the power of love beats the love of power, the world knows peace. What appeared to be a marriage proposal stunt landed them facing criminal charges for trespassing and unauthorized banner placement.
