Singapore to shorten timber scaffold use from 9 months to 3 to improve fire safety

Singapore is shortening the maximum time timber scaffolding can be used on construction sites from nine months to three months to strengthen fire safety measures. The move follows the government's review of early findings from a deadly fire at Hong Kong's Wang Fuk Court.
