Safety Zone; Isthmus Cove, Santa Catalina Island, CA

The Coast Guard announced a temporary safety zone for Isthmus Cove near Santa Catalina Island, California, effective July third. The closure protects people, vessels, and the marine environment during a planned overwater fireworks display. Boats are prohibited from entering unless authorized by the Captain of the Port in Los Angeles-Long Beach. If you have water activities planned for that area, reschedule them.
