According to Hackaday, a hardware enthusiast plugged a Bernoulli disk into a Nintendo WiiU. The Bernoulli disk—a relic from the nineteen eighties—was a removable storage drive that spun its platter at fifteen hundred RPM, hovering just a micron above the read head. When connected to the WiiU, the console apparently acknowledged the vintage drive with a small interaction, a delightful collision between decades of storage technology.
