Eight Thai monks killed after child drives truck into procession

According to Al Jazeera English, eight Buddhist monks have been killed in Thailand after a truck struck a religious procession. Police say an eleven-year-old boy drove the vehicle into the procession without his parents' permission. The child is now in custody and authorities will question him about the incident.
