‘Kiki’s Delivery Service’ Gets Imax Release as Gkids Adds Studio Ghibli Library in U.K., Ireland

According to Variety, the UK and Ireland are getting a major Studio Ghibli expansion. The distributor G-K-I-D-S has secured rights to the studio's entire twenty-three-film catalog for theatrical, home video, TV, and digital release. The rollout kicks off with an I-MAX release of 'Kiki's Delivery Service' on August twenty-first, and the library includes Oscar-winning titles like 'Spirited Away.'
