According to France 24 Observers, Russian mercenaries from the Africa Corps have begun deploying combat drones in Mali—equipment that saw previous use in Ukraine. The Africa Corps, which replaced the Wagner Group in supporting the Malian military, is now operating these drones in the Sahel, an environment they were not designed for.
