Will the end of TPS for Haitians mean a caregiving crisis in US?

politics

According to Al Jazeera, the United States could face a caregiving crisis if it ends temporary protected status for Haitians. Immigrants with TPS make up about fifteen percent of noncitizen workers here, with a large concentration in healthcare—nursing homes, hospitals, and home care. Demand for those workers already far exceeds supply, and an aging population only makes the shortage more acute. Without these workers, access to care for the elderly and disabled could be significantly impacted.
