Portrait exhibit brings 47 American presidencies to life

According to Axios, artist Salvatore Catalano has created portraits of all forty-seven U.S. presidencies, each paired with a presidential quote that captures the era. The exhibit is now on display at Goldman Sachs' Manhattan headquarters through August, aiming to add dimension to what Catalano calls the bloodless nature of a simple list of names. He notes that most Americans can't name all the presidents, much less describe what they look like. After its New York run, the exhibit moves to Washington, D.C.
