More than 100 passengers on US cruise ship sick from suspected norovirus

More than one hundred passengers and about two dozen crew members on the Ruby Princess contracted suspected norovirus while on a voyage to Alaska and Canada. The Centers for Disease Control confirmed the outbreak, marking the third infection event aboard a Princess Cruises vessel this year. The ship has returned to San Francisco for disinfecting.
