According to ABC News Australia, a woman who attacked Senator Lidia Thorpe outside the Melbourne Cricket Ground has been sentenced but will not serve jail time. The assault happened after the Dreamtime at the G, the football game between Essendon and Richmond, when Thorpe was with friends. Ebony Jan Bell was the attacker.
