Two Romanian films emerged as inaugural winners of the Transilvania HBO Award. 'The Fear's Artist,' directed by Cristi Iftime, and 'We Won't Get Old Together,' directed by Marius Olteanu, both from the festival's Works in Progress program, took home the honors. According to Variety, the prize is thirty thousand euros per film—approximately thirty-four thousand dollars.
